GUEST PASTOR– We welcome Pastor Carissa Rodriguez as our guest pastor for the month of November while Rev. Tim is in rehab. We are so pleased to have her!

REV. TIM– If you would like to send a card or note to Rev. Tim during his rehabilitation, please send them to: Rev. Timothy Hanley, Oakham Congregational Church, 4 Coldbrook Rd., Unit 12, Oakham, MA 01068. We will send them on to him!

THANKSGIVING GIFT CARDS – Our church distributes gift cards for families in need at Thanksgiving.  We are looking for gift cards to Hannaford, Big Y, Wholesome Foods or Walmart in the amount of at least $25.  If you’re able to help, please get your gift cards to Heather Stewart no later than November 17th.  Please be sure to mark the cards with the value amount.

OFFICE HOURS–Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9-12.  However, if you have a particular question or need, please call the office and leave a message (508-882-5537) or Dawn’s cell phone (774-479-6697) to ensure that someone will get back to you.

PRAYERS & CARDS—Index cards are available on Sunday mornings at each entrance. Please feel free to add names for prayers, whatever the reason.  If you would like to send cards to parishioners who are unable to attend church, there are lists of addresses on the table downstairs in Fellowship Hall. Please use our CONTACT link if you would like to submit prayer requests online or receive the list of those who might like to receive cards.

DISMAS FAMILY FARM –The second Wednesday of every month our church takes a meal to Dismas Family Farm, providing the main dish, a salad or vegetable, and a dessert.  If you would like to join us or contribute to a meal, please see Dick or Gail Pryce at church or call them at 508-886-4095.

FOOD PANTRY - Consider bringing a couple of non-perishable food items to the church each Sunday for the Rutland Food Pantry. 

COFFEE HOUR—Items and volunteers are needed for Coffee Hour.  Items can be store-bought or homemade.  They can be dropped off at the church kitchen anytime and left on the counter or in the freezer.  To volunteer to help out, please sign up on the sheet in Fellowship Hall.  Thanks—we love our Coffee Hour!

HARVEST & HOLLY FAIR—The Fair will take place on November 23, from 9 to 2.  If you would like to help or have questions or ideas for the fair, please contact Ellie Downer at 774-262-5882 or email her at mybackyard88@aol.com.

28th ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF LESSONS & CAROLSThe annual Festival of Lessons & Carols is planned for December 15, 2024. We have selected the cantata, Glory in the Highest, by Marty Parks. CDs are available if you’d like to preview the music and consider joining the choir for this special event! Our rehearsals are on Thursdays at 6:00 pm in the sanctuary (no rehearsal on Oct. 24 or Oct. 31.)
